Jonas Backe
Guitars since 2025
Born and raised in the northern part of Sweden. I started to play and write music at a very young age in the mid 90's, influenced by bands like Entombed, Dismember, Deicide, Morbid Angel and some melodic death/black-metal bands from the Gothenburg scene.
With a couple of releases behind me in different constellations, I'm now active both in Eldprov and Grá. I've also written some soundtracks over the years, to extreme sports movies like Ghostrider - Back to basics and Ruffriders. As an old friend to several of the members of Grá I've participated as a session guitarist during several gigs, most recently the Mexico tour in September 2025 and at Teifljågd Open Air in Austria. I've also filmed and edited some of Grá's music videos and when they asked me about joining the band as a permanent member the answer was simple, YES!
